Today was Pink Shirt Day to stand up to bullying. We had a talk about lifting people up and doing the right thing. The grade 3s performed a wonderful assembly to share about the day and importance of being kind. Here is a picture of our class in our pink attire:

Coming Home Today:
- Information about COPPERFIELD'S READ-A-THON! Each student has the details in his/her backpack. This will take place now until March 16th! Don't lose your pledge sheet and calendar!
- Thursday, February 27 from 6 - 7 is our school's Literacy and Math Night. Hope to see you and your family to learn something new and fun!
- If interested a JOB APPLICATION is coming home for our EA (business) known as Coppercares. These are to be completed at home and returned to me on Monday, March 2nd.
- Lunchroom tax receipts, if you paid there is one in those students' backpacks.
Remember:
If you have boxes and paper towel tubes we can use them! We will need them for building challenges and Coppercares. We will be building tomorrow (Thursday, March 27th). Thanks to the families who have sent in items already! This is a great start.
